About the menu

Tjiang, nestled in Bandung’s vibrant Ciroyom district, is a Chinese restaurant celebrated for its rich meat dishes, especially those featuring pork. The star on the menu is the nasi hainam campur special, a fragrant Hainan rice plate generously topped with roasted chicken, charsiu, siobak, fried meatballs, and boiled egg. The toppings offer a delightful balance of textures and flavors, from the succulent charsiu to the crispy honey cha sieuw roast pork, praised for its sweet glaze and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness.

Customers often highlight the quality of the grilled pork and the well-crafted rice, with some noting the satay’s sweetness could be dialed back for perfection. Beyond rice, Tjiang offers noodle dishes and even special occasion tumpeng rice featuring pork delicacies. Though prices lean on the higher side, the exceptional taste and generous portions justify it. Tjiang stands out as a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, hearty Chinese pork dishes in Bandung.

from a recent review —
We tried nasi campur special in this restaurant. The rice is quite dry..could be more moist, the sate is good..not too big but a little bit too sweet. If you have tried Kenanga or Kacamata in Jakarta, that's number 2 and 3. This is the number 1. Must try!
